Lucy Brown Studio is doing a little bit of work / play on the idea of what the two words mean to different people. Please send us two images, one which represents 'work' to you and the other representing 'play'.My plan is to set up 'mini' installations using clothes and objects from my everyday life that represent these words to me.
Work = daytime, my mac, creative objects, casual clothes, quirky objects that inspire me...
Play = Partying, nightlife, going out, sparkly clothes, heels...
I want to show a contrast and a similarity in both images, as I have fun doing both.
In this first installation I photographed my clothes and objects from a floor plan perspective and in an environment. I edited the final two images a fair bit to make them acceptable, as I really need to do this in a studio with better lighting.
I would like to experiment more with light and shadow, and the idea of hanging the items up to play with these elements in a studio.
