With this piece I am aiming to use the photographs I took combined with my artwork, which represents fragmented and abstracted elements of nature, focusing on contrast in texture, light and shape.I have taken my photographs, which I took in various natural environments and fragmented them to their purest geometric, graphical form, transforming a piece of nature into something very unnatural.
My plan is to then take these images back into their environment and rephotograph them, allowing part of the original, natural environment be a part of the image, showing further contrast between the unnatural abstract artwork and nature.
